MAUBY BARK
Mauby bark is native to the Caribbean Islands. When boiled for consumption, it's a novel potential source of bioactive compounds, such as saponins that exert health benefits through several mechanisms, such as anti-inflammatory and anti-lipidemic action, which have positive effects on hypertension as well as high cholesterol. Mauby is also used as a folk remedy or traditional medicine. Caribbean people believe that mauby drink is good "cooling" or helpful to relax a tense being.  
GINGER
One of the world’s most well-known and useful plants, ginger has been used for centuries as a spice for flavoring food and as a medicinal plant. Ginger contains a diverse array of important vitamins and minerals. It contains gingerol, a compound with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that has been linked to many unique health benefits (reducing hypertension, inflammation, blood sugar regulation, gastrointestinal relief, and more).
CINNAMON
Cinnamon is an aromatic and delicious spice made from the inner bark of trees known as Cinnamomum. Loaded with powerful antioxidants, cinnamon is so powerful that it can even be used as a natural food preservative. We add it in every batch of MABÏ for its aroma, taste, and benefits for you! 
ANISE SEEDS
An herb with a long history of use as a medicinal aid, anise is what we call now a super herb. It contains good amounts of antioxidant vitamins such as vitamin C and vitamin A. Anise is great for coughs, bloating, and indigestion.


CLOVES
Cloves are sweet and aromatic flower buds of the clove tree known as Syzygium aromaticum. In traditional Chinese medicine, cloves are associated with the spleen, stomach, and kidney meridians. Its functions are to dispel cold, warm the digestive system, push rebellious qi or energy and warm kidney yang, which is the foundation of the body's vital force. 
MONK FRUIT SWEETENER
Lo Han Guo or Monk fruit is native to Southern China and named after the monks who first cultivated it centuries ago. Monk fruit sweetener is made from extract derived from dried fruit. The extract is 100x sweeter than table sugar, has zero calories and carbs, does not raise blood glucose levels (perfect for diabetics!) and it's filled with anti-inflammatory properties.
